PICKING CONTAINERS

Please bring your own containers/bags to bring home your purchases, though you are welcome to pick in our buckets first if you don't want to pick directly into your containers.

We are trying to reduce waste and recycle, from time-to-time we have "free boxes", but also have cardboard trays you can purchase as well.

BEING CLEAN & HEALTHY

Clean hands, buckets and containers are needed before going out to the field.

  • We provide wash stations and port-a-potties for your convenience.
  • There is also hand sanitizer available as another option.
  • We clean our buckets after each customer use
  • Farms are dusty and dirty, but we will clean areas  that are touched most often at the stand as time allows.
  • We have "well" water located nearby that is not filtered, so it is not suitable for drinking, because of this we add a small amount of bleach to our hand-washing station to sanitize the water.

PARKING & DESIGNATED AREAS

We have designated areas for parking, ask for assistance from employee if necessary because we cannot block thoroughfares. This is a working farm and lots of machinery needs to move through on a daily basis.

You also need to be aware when picking in the fields that you are on designated rows and paths-highlighted by signs-so as not to be in the way of machinery. We want to be safe and avoid accidents. Employees will let you know if any areas are off limits.

WHAT TO BRING, WHAT TO LEAVE AT HOME

  • It's ideal to dress for the weather and expect dirty shoes, so decide what footwear will work for you and your family.
  • Almost every field is wide open to the sky, so sunscreen and hats are a good idea.
  • No food is allowed in fields besides water, anything else will attract pests if spilled.
  • We enjoy pets and other animals, but for the safety of them, our crops and our customers, it is better if you leave them safe at home.  Incidents have happened and we want to avoid them.
  • Service Dogs are welcome as long as they are behaving as trained. Thank you!!
